The Spokerperson of The Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, has assured the general public on the association’s stance on the 1-year ban on the Black Maidens from CAF on U-17 Female activities.
Following an evidence of age falsification of some players in the U-17 Black Maidens squad against Moroccan counterpart a month ago, CAF has officially banned Black Maidens from all competitions for the next two sporting seasonal activities and a fine of $100,000.
Mr. Twum, has stated GFA’s steps taken towards into the Court of Arbitration for Sport in retaliation to the decision undertaken by CAF.
“Morocco did a protest against Ghana after the 2nd leg and the verdict came out yesterday”.
“But we have appealed the decision”.
The verdict was released during an Executive Committee Meeting in Rabat, Morocco , a day after the commencement of the 14th Edition of the Women’s African Cup of Nations.
