Public Relations Officer of Medeama Sporting Club, Patrick Akoto, has applauded the association’s leadership for securing league sponsorship after nearly four years.
Akoto, expressed his joy for the clubs in the premier league as they have long waited for a headline sponsor.
“We’ve been hustling and tussling for the past three years without a sponsorship and so it extremely come in handy”, he noted.
“We’re very happy about it. Indeed we thank BetPawa and of course the leadership of the GFA for brokering this deal”.
“We’re yet to get to know the details and how much each clubs will be entitled and all that”.
“But on the surface, it appears good. On the surface, it appears extremely welcoming”.
“This could serve as a real booster and a cushion in the midst of this financial difficulties that that have crippled many clubs over the years”.
“Is a good start, we wait to see the details and then we can take it from there”, he concluded.
