New Patriotic Party (NPP) Stalwart, Prof.Baah Acheamfour has lamented that some NPP parliamentary canddiates are taking advantage of women in their constituencies by exploiting them of their monies. He added that these actions are intolerable and defames the party.
The NPP stalwart accused aspiring parliamentary candidate of the NPP in the Tolon Constituency, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, of engaging in such an act.
According to him, such an action is intolerable because women are the weaker group in the society and as such men need to show their support.
When quizzed by Kwame Afrifa Mensah if he, Prof.Baah Acheamfour had confronted Habib Iddrisu on the issue, he responded, “When I called him, he told me that he was very busy because of the elections”.
Alhaji Iddrisu Habib will be contesting the NPP parliamentary election in the Tolon constituency of the Northern Region scheduled for 20th June,2020.
