Manchester United fans all over the world are ecstatic about their formal player Cristiano Ronaldo decision to play for his previous club, where he became a world star during six seasons from 2003 through 2009 after his end with the Italian football club giant, Juventus.

Ronaldo has been handed the Manchester United’s iconic number seven position from Edinson Cavani and Cavani will now wear the number 2, a number that has never worn at club level.

When Ronaldo was announced to be playing for the club with Newcastle, it was a dream come through for most Man. United fans. Fans were clad in Manchester United number 7 jersey to support Ronaldo at Old Trafford. The game, which was referred by an England referee, Anthony Taylor had 4-1 scores after the ninety-two minutes.

Manchester United, Ronaldo did not disappoint, he scored two goals, the first goal on the forty sixth minutes and his second goal which was assisted by Luke Shaw on the sixty second minutes. Bruno Fernandes and Jesse Lingard came through with one goal each for the club.

The joy on the face of the fans at the field could not express how most fans felt for the return of the legend, Cristiano Ronaldo. Social media enthusiast took it online expressing how they felt and hope the club bounce back with the hashtag #CR7IsBack trending number one on Twitter globally.
