Ghanaian international, Abasa Aremeyaw has tipped the success in the UEFA Youth League as to dream to achieve in his inaugural season with MSK Zilina.
Aremeyaw moved from Zilina Africa, Ghana to the Slovakian top flight side November 2021, and has seen tremendous improvement thus swift promotion to the senior side after few games with the junior team.
The success with the junior side in European competition didn’t go unnoticed as 4 games qualified them to the playoffs against Inter Milan junior team in January 2022, and thus fancing their chances of success in European’s novel competition.
“To win the UEFA Youth League will become a dream come true for me. I used to watch the champions league back home and for me and the rest of the team members to be able to qualify this side for the playoffs and meeting Inter Milan means we can go through to the finals”.
Aremeyaw believes his debut season
With my promotion to the senior team, I pray we end the season on a good spot so it can guarantee us an Europa league slot”.
The mercurial defender has played 2 league games for the senior side of MSK Zilina and occupying 5th on the league log.
