Kasoa Division two side Cheetah FC has began trials for up and coming footballers wanting an opportunity to be recruited into a professional sporting side.

The lower tier side with it few years of existence boost of excellent facilities including it own stadium at Senya Breku and club’s store at Kasoa.

The club has in the past transferred players who have excelled for both club and country including the likes of Ex-FC Porto, Chelsea FC winger, Christian Atsu, Ex-Black Satellites captain, Emmanuel Toku, Ex-FC Guimaraes midfielder, Alhassan Wakaso, Ishmael Yartey, Ishaq Yartey, Ex-Watford and current Real Betis midfielder Kwasi Sibo, just to mention a few.

The trial which began on 19th January , 2022, is set to be extended to other regions of the country to fill player exodus happenings at the club due to high demand for players moving to clubs across Europe.                        The trial began at Odukpong Park at  Kasoa and further at Predators Den at Senya Breku for players to experience both the rough pitch and the astro turf style of playing.

Trialist who excel will be recruited into the club’s system and groomed to become the next football icon for both suiting club and national assignment.

CEO of Cheetah FC, Abdul Haye Yartey, encouraged young players to take their career seriously not just for trial success but for their life and home.

“Only few players will be recruited into the Cheetah FC home, we have lots of players in our books and looking forward to obtain few to fill the booths of ones left.                                        I want you all to be competitive not just on the field of play but this career will be the reason your life and your various homes will be fulfilled someday”, he concluded.
