TEMPER WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE SCHEME AND SEE OUR WRATH!
We have observed with great worry and concern, happenings about the supposed awards scheme by the TINKARO-led faction of the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) which sort to recognize and honor deserving students, lecturers, institutions and associations for their respective contributions to students course in this country.
It was out of trust, believe and hope for a better program by the organisers that we have been quite
and expecting the best free and fair awards devoid of any under-dealings and favoritism. However, we henceforth totally lost that trust, believe and hope after hearing of an intention to open new nominations for some persons for God-knows-why almost a week to the program .
We are daring the organisers to temper with the initial votes and smell the wrath of us! Having waited in patient for months despite several changes of dates without consultation of the major stakeholders; thus nominees, there shall be no room for tolerance and negotiations if the TINKARO-led faction tempers with our resources invested in the voting process. The worship of the god is over and we shall stand for fairness, justice and respect for all.
To this end, we are demanding for refund of our monies used in voting only if they are determined to do as it pleases them; thus if they will go ahead to add new persons as suggested. Also, we demand for the database of the outcome of the voting to be made public 3days before the program if they will not open the new nomination and will proceed with the awards as we are demanding.
Leadership should remember we are growing together and they claimed to be selfless as well. The time to weigh your integrity is now!
